Description
The olive branch is an international symbol of Peace based on the Biblical story of Noah’s Ark in Genesis 8:11: “The dove returned to Noah in the evening, but in its beak there was an olive leaf that it had plucked. So Noah knew that the flood waters had decreased on the land.”
Each olive leaf is picked from a tree in Bethlehem and placed into a wax mould. As the silver is cast it burns the leaf away and takes on its shape.
