The Jerusalem stone is also known as Jerusalem gold. It is one of the most sought-after building materials in construction projects, floor tiles and also floor and wall mosaics. It possesses a gorgeous array of colours such as  beige, pink, brown, off-white and pale yellow to pastel grey.

For centuries, Jerusalem Stone has been extracted from the hills surrounding the holy city of Jerusalem. Coveted for its rich colours and workability, it has long graced the city structures. The Spires of cathedrals, the dome of temples, the coziest of shops and restaurants are just a few examples. Even the tiniest of hovels have known the durability of Jerusalem Stone. Contemporary, formal, rustic, or casual: all styles meet in Jerusalem.

Jerusalem Gold is used exclusively in both the Old City and New City of Jerusalem. This explains why the cities have a distinctive and continuous gold hue in pictures and to the naked eye.

Last but certainly not least, Jerusalem is known to be the most Holy City in the world. It is the centre of the Jewish and Christian faith and also of great significance to the Muslim faith. This puts Jerusalem in the middle of so much turmoil … The Bible tells us that Jesus wept over Jerusalem at least three times.
