Description

The kufiya is a traditional headdress worn by Palestinian men. Therefore it was adopted by farmers, wearing it to protect themselves from the high desert sun, heat, and windswept sand and dust.  Also it is fashionably to wear it as a scarf around your neck. The meaning of the different patterns on the kufiya can be seen below.
